Lessons we learn !

I wish there was a easy method to teach our kids about the world . Some say that they need to learn on their own and that is best way to learn . I think best way to learn is by learning from others because some lessons are just too painful . One lesson I want my kids to learn is that not everyone that you think is your friend . I also want them to know that investing in meaningful relationships is worth the effort . I also want them to know " taking care of yourself is not selfish " . I want my kids to know that true strength has to come from inside and build it ! I want my kids to know to be kind to people and you never know the pain they are going through so do not judge . Most of all I want my kids to leave a footprint in the world so that others benefit in some way because they cared to give of themselves .

People , RIM is a Canadian company that employs people and pays taxes so stop bashing it . Life is not perfect and neither is any company so please stop looking at why this company is not something you envision . When RIM gets taken out by some company from another country we will be bashing government for losing jobs . Stop the insanity and support one of our own and I know I will . Canadians have no trouble at looking why company is not Apple but we need to give our head a shake . When you bash our companies in Canada how do you expect people in other countries support RIM products . When your company is "perfect " then you will be a expert .

I have spent much of my life focusing on future and working to be better with very little attention as to what is now . It is normal to focus on future but focusing on here and now is as important . Growing up in a environment where I focused on what will come unfortunately I missed some of what was . Being driven to be better , do better and get ahead is good thing but it does not focus you on the here and now . Being grateful every day is something that helps me now get focused on what is and present . Meditation is also a excellent method to slow down the world .
