Have you ever sat across a person dying who thanks you for being a professional and also that he is glad he met you because financially his family is taken care of ? I have and I tell you it is gut wrenching feeling knowing you client is not going to be alive for the next review . I have delivered cheques to people and corporations on variety of products : life , disability , critical illness and 31 years later it still hurts . Only consolation is knowing because of my efforts a cheque is being delivered . Yes I have people who sometimes do not answer my messages , do not answer my emails because of whatever reasons they have but I have one purpose of protecting from financial loss . People that do not know me may think it is about the sale but ask the ones that do know me who will tell you it is about their well being . I am sadened that my client died yesterday and it must be hell for his family . My only saving grace is that I will deliver a cheque to the widow and his kids . So when you think of a person as only a sales man know that we are providing a valuable service !
