We are very fortunate to be living in a city which is full of bright and capable people . I am blessed to have created a large relationship base or some call it a network . My business has been a a vehicle in that it has allowed me to create solid relationships with great people . Often , I am involved in putting people together that I think will be a good fit and can provide value to each other . I am known to as a go to person when someone needs something but I do it to assist people which gives me great joy . Who do you know that I can meet ?

Networking !

There are so many networking functions out there it is making it difficult choosing which ones to attend and ones to stay away from . We attend these events because that is where entrepreneurs , professionals and business people can be found . People that are energetic , confident and passionate definitely stand out at these meetings . Also it is important to look the part of a successful individual and be a bit different then the rest however not over the edge . Do you have a short script about yourself and or your firm ? If you can not get a persons attention  attention within the first 30 seconds of your conversation go and develop a short script for yourself . When going to events make it a objective to meet 3 good contacts . Gathering a bunch of business cards and hopping from one person to next is a complete waste of your time . Do not be boring and do not get bored !
