Are you passionate about the service you provide ? I am Passionate !

I am one of those people that is passionate about the service I provide and at times some people that do not know me think of my effort as pushy . I have had clients thank me for being passionate ( pushy ?) to get them covered with insurance , one case it was a year of waiting to engage and 2 years later senior partner died and I was the only one delivering a cheque while others were asking for one . I am successful at what I do but at time frustrated . Why ? I sometimes feel my interest to protect people and or corporations is more important to me then those that would be affected by a loss . Again , for those that do not trust you there is no relationship to deliver . Bring on the people that appreciate value we provide and to the rest good luck ! Maybe I am passionate about what I do because I know first hand what happens when you lose your parents at age of 14 .

Tax efficient insurance solutions !

There are a number of ways that you can buy insurance and save tax dollars . Depending on province you live in , insurance can be purchased with lower after tax dollars or even on a tax deductible basis . Corporations can own , pay for and be beneficiaries of life , disability and critical illness insurance . The rules that CRA has set out how to structure coverages and when premiums can be deducted as a business expense . Your insurance advisor has to have complete knowledge and can not solely depend on insurers to guide them because at the end of the day he or she is responsible for giving wrong advice . I belong to a group called Canadian Advanced Life Underwriters which is very clear on tax issues as it is also in close contact with CRA to ensure it's members are getting accurate advice on many issues.I see it as my responsibility to educate myself in order to know more then simply selling a product and professional advisors do this to better serve their clients . Deduct or not to deduct ?

Professional advisors should provide good service and excellent wservices when possible !

I am amazed from what people tell me about some professional advisers they use . More and more I am hearing about lack of prompt and reasonable times to advisers get back to their clients . I thought we were all in a service industry ? There is no shortage of professionals out there who are very good in their specialty and are also driven to provide clients with proper service .
