In a ideal world , all the business should be done from referrals . I am fortunate in that I get a lot of opportunities to meet new clients through referrals but still I wonder why not more then I currently get . Are people scared to refer and why ? I go out of my way to refer my clients and people I know to be worthy . I referred a young man who is completing his education at University of Western to a number of accounting firms I work with . Why ? Because I would hire this young man if we had a opening at one of our divisions . I have spent hundreds of hours as JR's football coach and know how he : never quits , is a class act , is focused , is a leader , and a number of other traits .
